Men and women left everything they had to follow Him.
His followers faced rejection and went two-by-two throughout the country to tell people about Him.
He proclaimed that He alone was the way to eternal life.
He declared that He was the One they had been expecting, that He had overcome the world.
…and then He died.
For three whole days, Jesus' disciples thought that everything that they had devoted the past few years of their lives to and everything that they had believed in and hoped in had been destroyed in an instant.
…but three days later He is raised from the dead.
"I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." Philippians 3:10-11
